Sharifur Rahman Adil receives Global Teachers’ Award

Sharifur Rahman Adil, Lecturer of Feni South East Degree College and The Asian Age Dagonb-huiyan Correspondent in Feni has been awarded India’s ‘Global Teachers’ Award-2018′ recently.

India’s biggest education affairs organization AKS Education Family handed over the award to Adil at Ocean Pearl Retreat Hotel in New Delhi on last September 16-18. AKS Education Foundation CEO Dr Dinesh Kamra, Director Sharbez Jagodis Raj and other officers of education and cultural ministry of India were present.

Teachers from 28 countries of Bangladesh, India, Asia, Europe, Africa participated in the program. AKS sources said that around 56 thousand teachers from different countries applied and 4,600 teachers were given nomination and only 500 teachers were given final nomination.

Total 100 foreign teachers including 3 are from Bangladesh. Before Sharifur Rahman Adil was knocked about the award by AKS signed notification on August 1, 2018.
